It’s a common joke around the office that we need to throw Orlando in the copy machine and get three more. His extensive understanding of the ins-and-outs of our business– from the complexities of a metal roof to the type of candy our roofers like us to keep in the office– makes his time extremely valuable and highly coveted. And yet, with impressive diligence and an attitude that never fails to lighten up the office, he manages to expertly get everything done and still make it home to spend quality time with his wife and three kids.
Though he holds the positions of Vice-President, Co-Founder, and resident expert in metal roofing, his most valuable skill at Taylor-made may be his innate ability to find that hidden file that no one else can seem to locate. Outside of the office, however, Orlando considers himself a “connoisseur of the lawn.” He is constantly perfumed with the sweet aroma of freshly cut grass and still won’t shut up about the mower he bought over a month ago. Despite his strange obsessions, we love him dearly and can confidently say we wouldn’t last a day without him.
